Submission Guidelines

To ensure that this website is a safe space for survivors to share their stories, all posts are reviewed by moderators before they are visible on the website. You will receive an email notification when your submission appears on the website. We reserve the right to reject the submission if it is does not meet the criteria listed below.

Many gun violence survivors have said that it is especially meaningful to share how their life has changed forever because of gun violence or to share a special memory of their loved one. These submissions help to tell the stories behind gun violence statistics and inspire others who read your post to learn about you or the person behind your moment. If you feel comfortable when submitting your story, please tell us about who your loved one was as a person or how your own life has changed if you were wounded or threatened with a firearm.
